NAIROBI, KENYA: The supposed love between Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama and Chocolate City sensation Victoria Kimani has been the talk of the town for a while, with some penning the relationship as a match made in heaven.

However, that may not be the case following recent rumours that surfaced on the internet alleging that Ms Kimani is a gold digger and that Wanyama was done with her. This comes after it was rumoured that the Mtoto singer is living a posh lifestyle that demands expensive items. Seeing that the situation had too gone too far, Wanyama cleared the air via his Twitter handle (@VictorWanyama), proclaiming that she is his friend and will always remain a friend to him.
