Friends star will be heading to court to portray the late lawyer who represented O.J. Simpson.
David Schwimmer will be joining the Kardashian clan soon as he transforms himself into the original patriarch of the reality TV family, the late Robert Kardashian, for an FX television miniseries.
The Friends star is taking on the role of the O.J. Simpson lawyer for a new show American Crime: The People v. O.J. Simpson, due to start filming next year.
David, who is best known as Ross from Friends, was cast as the high-powered attorney in the series which is based on Jeffrey Toobin's best-seller, The Run of His Life.
The actor joins already existing cast members Cuba Gooding Jr. as O.J. and Sarah Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark.
The FX miniseries will be filmed from the perspective of the lawyers who were integral to the Nicole Brown Simpson murder trial, the proceedings of which was televised and watched by millions.
American Horror Story executive producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk will be at the helm of the 10-episode season which will explore both sides of the court.
With David's busy schedule as a new member of the Kardashian family it looks like that Friends' reunion briefly mentioned this year for its 20th anniversary will no doubt be shelved again.
