Rapper blast radio presenter for 'asking for gifts' and being 'mean' on air

Local News

Smallz Lethal

Smallz lethal is a bitter rapper after his interview at a local radio station where he feels that the radio presenter had too much “mean attitude” and seemingly didn’t take time to “appreciate” his art.

Seemingly, this was one of the few radio interviews by Miss Mandii that was entirely recorded and that’s because the rapper came through with an entourage to studio. The entourage seemed to be an issue for Mandii who said

Jay-z never brings the whole crew.” Smallz didn’t get the chance to answer before she asked whether he wasn’t confident enough to show up in studio alone.

“Kwani you need someone to hold your hand? You are not confident enough smallz” she asked on air.

While those are somewhat “valid questions” smalls and some fans who were tune in to the show felt that she got personal with the crew, no wonder they made a video expressing how they felt.

But it was Mandii’s request for gifts on air that left him a bitter man. Mandi asked what they’d brought her in studio because in her shows people bring gifts like t-shirts, drinks and  meal vouchers, but when Smallz handed her his album saying that it was the best he could bring, she turned it down on.

“Here is my album it’s the best I could bring” Smallz said, but Mandii took none of it.

He also felt that it was wrong for Miss Mandii to call him an “underground artiste” simply because she didn’t know him.

Additionally Smallz opened up saying that local music key players should support more local artistes rather than casting a spotlight on international artistes and “forgetting their own.”

Perhaps Mandii was having fun when she said all those things, but evidently, Kenyan rapper Smallz  lethal took it personally, no wonder he made effort to record a video citing how he’d felt about it.

Here is the video, check it out and be the judge.
