Defending champions Gor Mahia on Saturday failed to move to the top of the FKF Premier League table after being held to a 1-1 draw by Sofapaka at Dandora Stadium.

The record Kenyan champions needed a win of any sort to climb above Kenya Police and sit on the summit but were dealt a last-minute blow when Douglas Kibet scored at the death to salvage a point for the 2009 champions.
