Infotrak: Kenyans want politicians with questionable character barred from polls

Nairobi: A majority of Kenyans, 80.5 per cent, want politicians with questionable character barred from participating in the 2017 poll, according to an Infotrak survey.

The survey results released on Tuesday show that 77 per cent want electoral candidates to disclose their sources of funds.

About 67 per cent of Kenyans want President Uhuru Kenyatta to consult with the Opposition chiefs in appointing the next electoral commissioners. Only Central region is against the idea of Uhuru consulting CORD in picking IEBC commissioners.
