MakeUpMonday: 3 easy ways to get your eyebrows shaped

Eyebrows are a big deal, I did not make such a fuss about it before because I always feared if I tweezed they would never grow because there really isn’t much hair in the first place.

When I finally got the courage to get them shaped after months of prodding from my girlfriends I could not believe how beautiful I looked without the extra facial hair.

There is something about well-shaped eyebrows that give the face shape and form. When well done, eyebrows draw attention to your face, especially your eyes. It makes you look pretty, bold and neat. They show that you take your image seriously, which is what every man desires in a woman.

There are 3 common ways to get your eyebrows shaped

Waxing :

 Some beauticians will prefer to wax the eyebrows to get rid of most of the unwanted hair then use tweezers for detailed shaping.

Waxing is the best choice if you want to stay for a while without shaping your brows but do not risk doing it yourself because you might end up taking wax off your eyelashes.

Threading:

This involves pulling out the hairs using a knotted piece of thread which is held between the beautician’s fingers and sometimes teeth.

The process surprisingly removes even the tiniest hairs and leaves you with a smooth finish.

Ardent fans of threading prefer it because it is less painful than tweezing and much less irritating than waxing.

Tweezing:

This is the most common and the good thing about it is that you can do it by yourself.

It is advisable that you only tweeze the stray hairs. Do not go overboard as this may interfere with the natural design of your arch.

If you have few eyebrows which are few and light fill them in with an eye pencil color of your choice. Before you do, brush them up using and eyebrow brush to give them a full look then fill in the spaces with your eye pencil. This will help give the illusion of thicker brows.
