Bayern Munich to bid for Arsenal defender Koscielny

Laurent Koscielny celebrates with Cazorla

Bayern Munich are reportedly mulling over a stunning bid to take Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny to the Allianz Arena.

According to the Sunday Express, talks have stalled between the French centre-half and the club over a new contract worth £90,000-a-week.

Arsene Wenger is keen to keep his compatriot at the club as he looks to launch an assault on a first Premier League title in over a decade next season.

But Bayern are now apparently considering a move as they hunt defensive support for first-choice central duo Mats Hummels and Jerome Boateng.
