Jamii Bora Bank has invested Sh13 million ($130,000) to roll out its own Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) network.

The bank was previously riding on the Kenswitch network but has launched its own network under the JBB MiniBank brand.

The bank’s Chief Executive Officer Mr Samuel Kimani said they had installed the machines at the Koinange Street- Nairobi, Nakuru, Kariobangi, Kisii and Machakos branches and will soon install more to cover the remaining branches so as to effectively serve their customers.

“The machines are live and open to customers and other bank clients who have Kenswitch enabled ATM cards. They will help reduce congestion in banking halls and enhance reliability as it is a 24-hour daily operation,” he said.
