Deputy President William Ruto is optimistic the case against him at the International Criminal Court (ICC) will soon end.
The ICC is Tuesday expected to rule on an application for a no-case-to-answer motion in which Mr Ruto and his co-accused journalist Joshua Sang want their case terminated. Speaking at African Inland Church in Pioneer, Eldoret during a North Rift women's congress, Ruto said: "I believe this case will soon be behind us, allowing all our energies and time to be utilised in moving our country forward. I thank all those who have stood with me in prayers and urge them to continue."
