Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has cautioned newly admitted advocates to steer clear of corruption.

Dr Mutunga told the lawyers that they risk their careers if they get entangled in corruption.

The Supreme Court President was speaking yesterday when he admitted 161 advocates to the bar. “I need not repeat the words of your President on corruption.

This profession is both a pathway to wealth as well as a highway to Kamiti,” Dr Mutunga said.
