University of Eldoret stopped from sacking deputy VC

The University of Eldoret has been barred from sacking suspended Deputy Vice Chancellor Ezekiel Kiprop and Finance Officer Hosea Sitienei. Nakuru Labour Court Judge Stephen Radido yesterday issued the conservatory order pending hearing of two petitions at the court. The two are and seven others were suspended over allegations of abetting unrest. They said the university council cannot sack them because it is not properly constituted.
