It was an emotional show on Sunday’s Tukuza show as fans and viewers bid Dj Krowbar and Kendi Ashitiva goodbye.
The two charismatic hosts ended their run on the popular KTN gospel show to pursue personal projects.
On a phone call interview with Dj Krowbar he said he was concentrating on his production company after 5 years on the show while giving the younger deejays a chance to grow.
“When I began this show two years ago I had no idea it would change my life like it did. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Lord,” read Kendi’s message.
So what next for the gospel show?
We spoke to the show’s producer Mable Achieng who assured us that Tukuza will continue to grow strong.
“It was emotional having to let them go, since we had become a family over the years,” Mable said.
“But fans need not worry as Anthony Ndiema remains on the show while we will feature various guest deejays,” she continued.
According the producer, this coming Sunday’s Tukuza will be themed New Beginnings.
