Rugby: Kabras coach Ogot relish KCB union

Kabras Sugar coach Antony Ogot is relishing the prospect of meeting his former side KCB in tomorrow’s Kenya Cup final, at the RFUEA Grounds.

Ogot was part of the KCB team that won their last Kenya Cup in 2007, but having surpassed all the odds to first, qualify for the playoffs on their maiden season, before stunning defending champions Nakuru 15-12 in last weekend’s semis, the player/coach is not afraid of his former employers.

“I’ve played for KCB and I know what they are capable of. It’s a good team with quality players, but for us we are motivated by our season achievements,” said Ogot.

“It will not be an easy match for both of us, but whoever wakes up on the right foot will win it. We are more than ready to face them.”
