City beggars have devised new ways to squeeze money from unsuspecting Nairobians.
The Nairobian has learnt that they are using girls aged between five and seven years to solicit money. However those who fail to part with anything get a hard kick in the balls from the beggars.
Victims who spoke to The Nairobian claim the young girls will play innocent when approaching you before turning violent.
Further, it is claimed the girls hurl insults at anyone who refuses to give them cash.
“Recently, a young girl approached me for some cash. I walked away in haste and can you believe she shouted ‘malaya wewe! Kwende huko (stupid whore, go hang!). I was really embarrassed and before I could react, she had taken off. It is time Kidero took stern action against these street kids,” one of the victims told The Nairobian.
Last year, MCA Elizabeth Manyala moved a motion to compel the county government to relocate the street families from the CBD, but nothing has been done.
