Kiambu County fire fighters to train in Poland

The Kiambu County government will train locals in modern fire fighting techniques in partnership with Polish government. While speaking at Thika fire station during the graduation of 40 fire fighters who were trained on usage of modern equipment Governor William Kabogo said the move will go along way in curbing the fire incidences.

“My government in partnership with Polish Government have trained fire fighters using the latest techniques in combating fire whenever such incidents occur,” said Kabogo. “Fighters were also trained on high rope rescue training which was conducted by the Polish Centre for International Aid who partnered with the county through The Poland Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”
