Kisii Senator Chris Obure was involved in a road accident over the weekend near St Paul's University in Limuru.
Obure, his bodyguard and driver sustained minor injuries and were rushed to Tigoni Hospital. Later, Obure is reported to have checked in at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi for further examination.
