Tanzanian gospel star Rose Muhando has finally spoken about the snake bite incident in January.
Muhando was admitted to hospital after being bitten by a snake in her compound on January 19.
“I just bumped into it outside my gate and it turned out to be poisonous. I was admitted in hospital for two days,” Rose Muhando told Heads Up.
The Nibebe star was also suffering from a condition which causes swellings on her legs and arms. She was rumoured to have procured an abortion, something she denied vehemently when we contacted her last year.
Blogs went into a frenzy with news that the celebrated singer had terminated a seven-month pregnancy, leading to her arrest and grilling by Tanzanian police.
Muhando however clarified that she was never questioned by police or the media.
“I have recovered from the snake bite. Currently, I’m working on my music career and planning my tours. I’m in a very good place in my life,” she said.
