Gatundu South mp Moses Kuria say that Stanley Kamau is fighting jiggers so hard in Central Kenya because he wants to be deputy governor in 2017.
“What he has been doing is politics under the guise of helping people infected with jiggers,”Kuria told The Nairobian on phone. “If that’s not the case why the special attention on Central region? What’s so special here that’s not in other parts of the country?”
The Gatundu South MP wondered why he has been fighting jiggers for the last eight years without giving statistics of his achievements. Why can’t he tell us the number of people with jiggers, let’s say in Kiambu County and the number of people his campaign has helped so far?” Kuria posed adding that “if he does that I will sit down with my Governor Kabogo will draw a plan on how to help them. “This guy is nothing but a merchant of poverty. He would like as many people to have jiggers so that he can remain in business.”
