Voters in a Western Kenya constituency are not amused by their MP’s “mean” (or is it frugal?) lifestyle.
According to sources, the man has never used his official vehicle for fear that his constituents will demand money from ‘Mheshimiwa’. Our little birdie says the politician is so ‘mkono gamu’ (mean) that the gate to his home in Western is made of barbed wire. The constituents claim that the best means of transport he opts for when he is not using the Eldoret Express is the Rift Valley shuttle (14-seater matatu).
Some of the constituents have decided to set him up and embarrass him through traffic police and the media. They hope that the police can corner him for not using a safety belt or something like that. Power Play will definitely be looking forward to how this unfolds.
