A 21-year-old Kenyan died last week from injuries he sustained after a beating in a club in Indianapolis City, USA.

According to the TheIndyChannel.com, Felix Achoch was inside Club Vision located in the 4100 block of Lafayette Road, when a fight broke out.

Investigators have ruled the July 30 death of the Kenyan, who was being considered for the Indy Eleven soccer team as a homicide.

Now, they need help finding those who assaulted him.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) said homicide detectives need the public’s help in identifying the suspects in the investigation.

The local police said just after 2 am on July 22, the fight spilled into the parking lot, where Achoch was assaulted by several people.

Another person reportedly tried to stop the fight, but was also dragged into the scuffle and assaulted.

Police officers became aware of the fight and Achoch was taken to Methodist Hospital in critical condition. Eight days later, he died from his injuries, police said.

The Marion County Coroner’s Office ruled his death a homicide.

Achoch was a student from Kenya who was attending classes at Ivy Tech Community College. IMPD said he was an accomplished soccer defenseman who was being considered for the Indy Eleven.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have video or observed the incident to call the IMPD Homicide Unit.
