The much awaited Athletics Kenya (AK) elections will now be held on February 20, 2013.
AK boss Isahiah Kiplagat said in a press conference that preparation were in top gear to hold the polls. He said the 12 branches and four affiliates have been informed of the elections date.
Kiplagat said the position of a CEO will be advertised as from 14th January together with that of a Technical Director. He said the Technical Director position will be open to Kenyans and also foreigners.
Kiplagat spoke yesterday at Riadha House when he also released the calender of events for 2013. —
