The area around Ruiru in Kiambu county is to be developed into an ultra modern mega city complete with a football stadium, shopping malls, commercial buildings and residential units within the next twenty years. Renaissance capital and a group of Kenyan entrepreneurs have partnered in the project branded tatu city, which is estimated to cost in excess of 400 billion shillings when complete. The project was launched on Tuesday.
