Man to serve six months in jail for beating up mother-in-law in Kakamega

A man will serve six months in jail if he does not pay a fine of Sh20,000 for beating up his mother-in-law.

Senior Resident Magistrate Erick Malesi found Earnest Lukhafwa guilty of assaulting Susan Egesa, 70, on January 8, 2017, at Namirama village, Navakholo sub-county, in Kakamega County after she found him felling a tree in her compound without her permission.
