In scripture, doors are metaphors that signify important things in one's life. "And to the Angel of the church in Philadelphia write; these things he says he who is holy, true, has the key of David, opens and no one shuts and shuts and no one opens. I know your work. See I have set before you an open door and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept my word and not denied my name" (Revelation 3:7-8).

God delights in opening doors for us but he also shuts some doors. In opening doors just like in prayers; God can say yes, no or wait. We have many doors in the form of salvation, destruction, Satan, opportunity, ministry, missions and the bible or heaven and all of them depend on the choices we make. Doors in your life signify welcome or rejection; entry or exit; and opportunity granted or denied.
