Kenyan taxpayers can expect to pay at least 168 millions to foot the cost of establishing and maintaining four regional integration centers planned for Busia, Isebania, Lunga lunga and Namanga border points. Of that amount, 36 million shillings will go into building offices and buying office furniture and vehicles, if initial proposals based on a study carried out to generate baseline data on the regional integration centers are adopted…the regional integration centers are institutions set up to promote cross- border trade.
