Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has hailed Uhuru Kenyatta as the best President Kenya has ever had. Through a post on his social media pages, Babu heaped praised on the Head of State for issuing title deeds to residents of his constituency.

He narrated how many had suffered from the uncertainty of land ownership but can now breathe a sigh of relief. “I wish to take this opportunity to express my profound gratitude to H. E Uhuru Kenyatta, the best President Kenya has ever had for heeding my appeal to issue title deeds to residents of Embakasi East.

“Our people have struggled with the uncertainty of ownership of land where they have lived for over 45 years. Through the President’s kindness, this uncertainty ended today. And I am deeply humbled and grateful for this,” wrote the legislator.

Further, he promised to continue praying for President Kenyatta. “Mr. President, we will continue praying for you for God to give you long life and good health so that you may govern in wisdom! Uhuru Kenyatta tosha, tano tena!” he wrote.

President Kenyatta urged leaders to shun unnecessary politics saying endless politicking was slowing down the country's progress. The President said leadership is about defending the rights of the people and not dividing them for selfish interests.

"There's more that we can achieve as a country if we remove politics and fight for leadership, and focus on what we ought to do," he said. The Head of State spoke on Friday at KICC in Nairobi County where he presided over the issuance of 38,000 land title deeds to residents of Embakasi Ranching, Tassia, Korogocho and Mbagathi River Bank estates.
