King Kaka makes public the number that called him, Kenyans reveal man's identity

Rapper King Kaka on Tuesday revealed that he had received a call from someone who purported to be from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

Speaking outside the DCI headquarters in Kiambu, King Kaka stated that his manager received a call at around 10.41am and the caller only identified himself as Onyancha.

He went ahead and posted the number online.

@DCI_KenyaThe Number that called us claiming to be CID is +254 746 541 000 , and threatened us saying they know our whereabouts, ‘it’s either you come to us or we come for you because where you live’ .

“Officer Onyancha and said Room 304. Please investigate,” said the rapper.

Kenyans online were quick to delve deeper into the matter and attempted to send money to the man in a bid to get his identity.

The line was registered under one Callen Mongina Onyancha.

Earlier, DCI had denied summoning the artiste and warned those seeking publicity from dragging the institution into their stunts.

“We wish to condemn strongly false information being peddled through social media to the effect that one Kennedy Ombima @RabbitTheKing has been summoned. Nobody from DCI has summoned him.

“Anybody wishing for publicity should be warned to desist from using the @DCI_Kenya as platform in seeking media attention,” said the DCI.

On Tuesday, King Kaka reiterated that he does not feel safe and asked for protection.
