Kibra election has showed us the moles in Jubilee, I will petition for their removal – Gladys Boss Shollei

Uasin Gishu County Women Representative Gladys Boss Shollei on Friday, November 8, 2019, said that she will petition for the removal of some Jubilee Party members.

This came as she expressed her displeasure in the manner in which the members neglected the party’s candidate McDonald Mariga during campaigns for the Kibra by-election.

The Woman Representative said that the by-election acted as an eye-opener on who really supports the course of Jubilee as a party.

“Kibra elections imetuonyesha Kitu moja… Tumejua wale wanachama wa jubilee ambao ni moles. Wanafaa kutoka kwenye chama cha jubilee … Sisi tutachukua hatua. I will petition jubilee watolewe chamani…”

“KIbra election has shown us one thing… We now Know the Jubilee Party members who are moles”

“They should be removed from the party, we will take action, I will petition their removal from the Jubilee Party.” Said the Woman Representative.

The leaders in question expressed their support to the Orange Democratic Movement’s (ODM) candidate Imran Okoth who eventually won the Kibra constituency Member of Parliamen seat.

They referred to him as ‘The handshake candidate’

The by-election took place on Thursday, November 7, 2019, and Jubilee party’s candidate McDonald Mariga came in second.
