When it comes to relationship deal breakers, how would you feel about your partner locking away all the chocolate?

Well, one woman who opened her fridge to find her fiancé Dave had done just that, has joked that she considers it "breakup material".

Stacey Lowe, shared a hilarious post on Facebook putting Dave on blast for not wanting to share his sweet treats with her any longer.

In it she brands her husband-to-be an "a***hole" and asks if anyone else "wants him".

She wrote: "So this is what it has come to! You buy a house together, have a child together, get engaged, are planning a wedding and doing your house up and this happens!

"Dave goes and buys a f***in fridge safe because he's an a***hole and doesn't want to share his chocolate with me anymore!

"Anyone want him? Surely this is breakup material right?! P****!"

She added: "Think I need to invest in one for myself now, two can play that game."

Her post quickly went viral, being shared over 55,000 times and garnering over 106,000 comments.

Some people thought Dave's idea was genius and said they would be getting a safe of their own.

One person replied: "OMG!!! This is the best way, now I won't have to hide my chocolate under the cheese!"

"This is brilliant," proclaimed someone else.

Another added: "I'm seriously considering getting one."

However not everyone saw the point in it, with a different user asking Stacey why her partner didn't just get her some chocolate to have all to herself.
