WWE superstar The Rock has married long-term girlfriend Lauren Hashian.

The wrestling legend and Hollywood star, real name Dwayne Johnson, posted two pictures of the pair on their special day on Instagram.

He was seen wearing white jeans and a buttoned-down white shirt with a Hawaiian lei around his neck whilst his bride wore a more traditional wedding dress.

The pair, who share two young children together, have been together for a number of years and have now officially tied the knot having kept the event under wraps.

"We do. August 18th, 2019. Hawaii. P?maika?i (blessed)" he wrote.

They announced they were expecting another child in December 2017 and Lauren gave birth to another baby girl, Tiana, in April 2018.

Johnson, 47, recently admitted publicly for the first time that he has retired from wrestling.

But he left himself open to a return to the ring during an interview promoting his new film 'Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw'.

The eight-time WWE champion, who recently was named the highest-paid actor for 2019 by Forbes with a cool $124million intake, told the Live with Kelly and Ryan show: "I miss wrestling. I love wrestling.

"I quietly retired from wrestling because I was lucky enough to have a wonderful career and accomplish what I wanted to accomplish.

"But there's nothing like a live crowd, live audience and live microphone."
