DP Ruto promises “kijana fupi, round” a job offer

Deputy President William Ruto has promised Dennis Kapchok, former MCA aspirant famously known as Mulmulwas, a job offer.

Speaking in Tamka Secondary School in West Pokot County at a function attended by Governor John Lonyangapuo, the DP said he will secure a job for him on condition that he stop interfering with government projects.

“I heard the Governor said there is a jobless man called Mulmulwas. But I want to state here categorically that we will help Mulmulwas to secure a job on condition that he does not oppose government projects. Doing so is not working. He must take care,” said DP Ruto.

The DP cautioned Kapchok against opposing county projects such as the construction of the sewerage line saying it was a step back on development.

Responding to the job offer when questioned by a local news website, Kapchok doubted whether he will take the job offer.

He said he never applied for any job since his key mandate was to fight impunity, corruption and poor management in the county.

Kapchok and governor Lonyangapuo were embroiled in a war of words on March this year prompting the county boss to make viral remarks that kept many laughing all over the country.

“Kijana fupi, amenona, round; huwezi jua tumbo ni wapi na mgongo ni wapi… Hana kazi, hana kazi,” said Lonyangapuo,” said Lonyangapuo.

The Former MCA aspirant had questioned Governer Lonyangapuo on his missing deputy Dr Nicholas Atudonyang who lives and works as a medical expert in the US.

Atudonyang, who was doubling as Health County Executive, had gone missing for months prompting the local leaders to question his whereabouts and his mandate in the county.
