Rift Valley MP goes under after phone call over his remarks on dam scandal

A vocal Rift Valley MP has gone under after he was reminded of fraud case facing him.

The politician - who has been making a lot of noise over Arror and Kimwarer dams’ scandal - reportedly received a call from some quarters daring him to continue with his political attacks against one faction within the Jubilee Party.

The man has not made any public utterances since Saturday and is said to be ignoring most calls just to avoid angering the power that be.

The Grapevine has learnt that the politician - who is not new to controversy, and whose past is dotted with questionable activities - was scared to the core by the call and told some of his friends to plans take keep a low profile as he monitors the country’s political environment.

A renowned legislator is at logger heads with his party leader over his tendencies to make unguarded political remarks. 

Recently, the veteran lawmaker found himself on the spot after he spilled beans on the future plans of his boss in what reportedly angered the political supremo.

The revelation is said to have angered his party boss, who is said to have given him a piece of his mind in a lengthy phone call. 

Handlers of the influential party boss are now accusing the MP of leaking political secrets to the public, thus jeopardizing his political plans.
