Pogba sends weird message to Mourinho after his sacking

Jose Mourinho has finally been sacked as manager of Manchester United after months of speculation, and Paul Pogba was quick to react to the huge news on social media.

The 55 year-old appeared to have turned his back on the French midfielder, after he omitted him out of United for the last two Premier League matches and also dropping him throughout Sunday's 3-1 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield.

The striker, whose relationship with Mourinho has been strained all season, was not sympathetic on social media, with hysterical reactions to the big news posting a picture smirking with his eyes darting to the side. He captioned the photo: "Caption this!"

Minutes later he deleted the post as seen below.

 

United announced earlier today that Mourinho left with immediate effect.

They have also confirmed a caretaker manager will take charge until the end of the season.

"A new caretaker manager will be appointed until the end of the current season, while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new, full-time manager," they said.
