Senator, county chief in a tiff over Uhuru tour

The recent tour of President Kenyatta in Nyanza was accompanied by its fair share of drama as leaders jostled to catch the attention of the Head of State.

A day before the President landed in the Lakeside city, a senator and a Governor are said to have nearly engaged in a fist fight over an unknown issue.

This was after the county chief allegedly locked out the vocal senator from a planning meeting ahead of the tour.

The tiff between the two leaders which left those in attendance shocked, extended to the next day, where the duo avoided the sight of each other in the highly publicized tour by the President, which was the first one after the hand-shake.
