As if her day wasn't bad enough, Theresa May was hit with a moment of farce today as her Jaguar was forced to do an extra lap outside Parliament.
The Prime Minister's convoy approached the gates of Parliament for Prime Minister's Questions - where she's facing MPs for the first time since they launched a no confidence vote.
But for some reason the car overshot the gates.
Either the gate didn’t open in time or the driver aimed for the wrong gate.
The PM’s bombproof, armoured Jaguar XJL was forced to do a farcical go-around, around the full Parliament Square roundabout.
It got momentarily stuck in traffic, with her police escorts urging other vehicles out the way.
Eventually she made it into the Commons.
The high alert around the gates was understandable.
Only yesterday an intruder was arrested and tasered after getting just inside the same gates into Parliament.
