The latest incident that shocked the county is where they spent Sh300,000 for a birthday party of local celebrity at a children's Home.

The county government later funded a party at a night club. The Grapevine has it that the advisor to the governor is behind the scheme to reap from the county after their earlier activities were detected and loophole sealed by the governor who has declared zero tolerance to corruption.
