KOT impressed by video of incorruptible traffic cop along Thika Road

A number of Kenyans on Twitter were impressed by a video of an incorruptible traffic cop along the Kasarani-Mwiki road on Thika Highway.

A Mwiki Sacco Limited (MSL) bus driver was caught on camera trying to bribe the cop but instead he took the money and threw it away. The cop is later seen writing charges on his notebook.

It is however still not known what crime that matatu driver had done for him to bribe the cop.

Netizens took to social media to congratulate the cop for setting a good example for his colleagues.

I live on Thika Road and there is a biker cop who is really feared by matatus, I think this is the guy. @NPSOfficial_KE such people should be recognized and rewarded.

There is another good cop on Langata road. Don't know his name but he is found at T Mall around about. That guy needs to be recognized.

This traffic officer deserves highest state commendation. RT if u agree— Elly Koross (@ekkoross74) August 31, 2018

Dear @PoliceKE,
Please deploy this officer to 1st Ave Eastleigh. From Jogoo rd to Medina Mall R.About. He might help clear the obstruction caused by Matatus on both sides of the road, which happens under the full glare of cops. It's terrible.
Kudos to this officer.

Kasarani cops are very good. I have a personal experience where someone hit me then tried to bribe a cop. The cop refused to be bribed.— Edith Lumumba (@Miss_Lumumba) August 31, 2018

We have a new DPP in town. People whisper his name.
