SUMMARY

DP Ruto's failure to meet the former President sparked wild reactions online

He made his way to ex-President Moi's home without any appointment

Deputy President William Ruto on Thursday, May 3 failed to meet former President Daniel Arap Moi at his home in Kabarak.

DP Ruto is said to have visited the ex-president’s home without appointment only to find him engaged in routine physical exercise with his doctors.

He was in the company of Energy CS Charles Keter, Lawyer Stephen Kikenda and William Chepkut, the Ainabkoi MP.

“Unfortunately, this coincided with the time Mzee Moi was undergoing routine physical exercise with his doctors. Mzee Moi agreed to meet the visitors at a convenient time and another day in the very near future,” read part of a statement from the office of the former President.

DP Ruto is a man under sieke. The fact that most Kenyans are happy about the rejection at Kabarak, is a clear indication of how deep is political grave has been dug.— Tina (@tinaokore) May 4, 2018
