Riyad Mahrez spotted sneaking out of Emirates Stadium [PHOTOS]

After Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup semifinals on Wednesday, January 24, Leicester City winger and Algeria International Riyad Mahrez was spotted leaving the Emirates Stadium.

The 2016 African Player of the year has been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates and fans think his cameo at the Emirates last night could be an indicator that he’s signing for the Gunner Soon.

Mahrez is currently valued at 50 million euros and it would require a huge amount of money to pluck him from former Premier League Champions.

In the video and the pictures shared widely on social media, Mahrez is seen in a huge red hoodie, possibly hiding to avoid confrontation from jubilant Arsenal fans.

Some fans even went to the extent of surrounding his car, certain that they had seen the Algerian.

Mahrez’s Algeria and Leicester teammate Islam Slimani aroused more speculation after posting a picture of himself inside the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger however, remained tight-lipped on the matter and only said, “If something happens, it happens. If not I’m perfectly happy with the squad I have. In January we paid a heavy price for uncertainty in the dressing room - now we are back.”

Arsenal is also reportedly seeking to sign Gabon International Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund.
