THE NEXT GIGGS: Talented 19-year-old could make his debut for Man United against Southampton

Manchester United take on Southampton at Old Trafford tonight in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho is keen to get his team back to winning ways, as the Red Devils have not won a single match in their last four.

Two consecutive 2-2 draws to Leicester and Burnley leaves United a point above Chelsea after game week 19.

According to The Metro, Jose Mourinho could call up 19-year-old Callum Gribbin to the senior team, but will probably start on the bench.

Gribbin trained with the senior team from Thursday and stayed longer than other academy hopefuls, prompting rumours that he could be in line for selection today.

Staff at Man United’s training ground have compared Gribbin to legend Ryan Giggs, as he is capable of playing in any position in midfield.

The fact that he’s left-footed and runs fast at defenders would make him a pleasing choice for Mourinho, who is desperately in need of a player who can change the game.

Marouane Fellaini, Michael Carrick, Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly will miss the clash as they are still nursing injuries.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back and trying to find his form while Armenian Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who played well against Burnley is also fit.

Manchester City led the log, a good 15 points ahead of Mourinho’s men.

Man United have also been linked with Juventus ace Paulo Dybala and Barcelona defender Umtiti.
