Mesut Ozil reveals he has been in contact with top manager hours before Man United clash

German play-maker Mesut Ozil’s contract at Arsenal expires at the end of the season and has hinted of his next possible move away from the Gunners.

Ozil has been in fine form for Arsenal this season and has caught the attention of top club managers in Europe.

Jose Mourinho failed to rule out a possible move for the former Real Madrid man, escalating speculation about Ozil’s next destination.

However, according to Mirror Football the German has admitted that he still talks to Real Madrid Manager Zinedine Zidane and would like a move back to Spain.

“The way he interpreted and directed his game has fascinated me and still fascinates me. His technique and his creativity were outstanding. As a youth player I wanted to be like him,” said Ozil.

Los Blancos have been shaky this season and it’s not possible to point out their star man, meaning Zidane might actually be forced to make changes to his squad in the coming transfer window.

Arsenal welcome Man United to the Emirates tonight in a crunch Premier League clash and Mourinho will be keen to keep Ozil quiet if he wants to avoid defeat.

No other player in the Premier League this season has created more chances than Ozil.
