Governor in trouble for trashing pre-poll MoU

Trouble is looming for one Governor from a county in Nyanza region. This is after the newly elected county boss reneged on a pre-election pact he had with leaders from the area led by the Senator, concerning the constitution of his cabinet.

After he got to office, the Governor is understood to have trashed an MOU he had entered with politicians from the region and instead single-handedly chose CEC’s. What irked the leaders and a section of the residents is that over half of the nominees are people who used to stay and work in Nairobi.
