Former Presidential aspirant Kaluyu is ready to work with the government

Former US-based Presidential aspirant Japheth Kavinga Kaluyu said he will accept to work with the Government if he gets an offer.

In an interview on Monday, November 6, Kavinga said his motive is to serve Kenyans and a call by the President to serve will be welcome.

He explained that leading goes beyond elections and being defeated does not mean he cannot lead.

His move came just before the Supreme court received petition from different individuals who petitioned against President Uhuru's win.

Kavinga, who lost both in the August 8 and Octoer 26 elections said that the President Uhuru Kenyatta is the winner of the latter.

He urged Kenyans to give full support to the Government in order for development to happen.

He said both sides are right to defend their opinions but taking time in disagreement will only slow development down.

When asked whether he is ready to work for the government, Kavinga said if the President delegates any work to him, he will gladly take it up.

“Nataka kufanyia wakenya kazi. Iwapo rais wangu ataniuliza niwaongoze watu flani kwa njia flani, kama Rais wangu, ni lazima nijenge nchi kwa namna flani, nitaongoza”, he said.

Kavinga, a product of Wall Street has trained people from Nigeria and other places like the State of New Jersey. He has also worked as a University Dean, Professor, TV/Radio show host, a speaker, educator, consultant and author

He said his skills acquired from all over the world befits matters related to the diaspora, foreign affairs and education and he would gladly take up jobs in those sectors.
