Starehe Member of Parliament Charles Kanyi, well known by his stage name ‘Jaguar’ was the centre of criticism after he tweeted about the running battles between police and Kibera youth.
Jaguar, who won the Starehe MP seat on a Jubilee ticket indirectly asked fellow musician Octopizzo to speak on what was happening in Kibera, a tweet that did not sink well with Kenyans on Twitter (KOT).
“Kibera youth are engaging authorities in contest even after NASA leaders urged their supporters to stay away. Yet u remain silent,” was Jaguar’s tweet addressed to Octopizzo.
In response, Kenyans bashed Jaguar’s comment, even ridiculing his situation at the Jubilee Headquarters in Nairobi during the party nominations.
