CoG chair out? Is jubilee quietly planning Josphat Nanok’s ouster after repeat poll?

 Josphat Nanok
Jubilee Party is reportedly seeking control of the Council of Governors A replacement of the current CEO has been allegedly found

Jubilee Party is doing everything to ensure it gains control of the Council of Governors (CoG) from the opposition.

Apart from planning to show the door to current council chairman Governor Josphat Nanok, a bitter critic of the Government and replace him with a friendly governor, Grapevine has established that the ruling coalition plans to kick out office the current council’s chief executive officer.

And just to prove that it is not all talk, a replacement of the current CEO has been found; a vocal city politician.

The former legislator, we are told is just mark-timing as she waits to be confirmed after next week’s repeat presidential elections.

Is a former presidential aspirant not doing well financially?

The suave lawyer with an illustrious career that saw him land a plum post in a past regime was spotted on Tuesday at a go-down in Mombasa, inspecting household goods that were being auctioned.

The advocate, who pulled out of the race for the top country seat, was seen comfortably checking out some old sofa sets, tables and washing machines, which he intended to buy.

At one point he engaged some of the staff working for the auctioneer in an animated chat, as he sought to find out the prices of some of the items.

He did all this oblivious of the stares his presence elicited from other bemused prospective buyers.
