On Monday 25 September, Mombasa Governor, Hassan Ali Joho was arrested for alleged claims of trespassing and land grabbing at the Nyali police station in Mombasa.
The Mombasa Governor has however dismissed the claims saying that the police commander and his officers are "simply trying to aide someone to grab public land. The Governor has however been released.
