IEBC announces new date for fresh poll - Kenyans go wild on social media

he Independent Electoral and Boundaries commission (IEBC) on 21 September released a statement their twitter handle saying that the repeat presidential election will be held on October 26, which happens to be President Uhuru's birthday. Earlier, the IEBC had proposed that the repeat presidential elections be held on October 17.

This is after the Supreme Court's full verdict on Wednesday 20 where the court outlined several guidelines that the IEBC has to follow before conducting the repeat election.
