Gareth Bale could be forced to move to England following events at Valencia

Real Madrid and Wales winger Gareth Bale was the subject of criticism from a section of Real Madrid fans during Los Blancos’ 2-2 draw at Valencia.

Rising star Marco Asensio once again was in top form, scoring a brace and helping the La Liga champions avoid defeat at the Mestalla Stadium.

Due to the suspension and injury of UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo, manager Zinedine Zidane was forced to begin with Benzema in the middle of the attack, with Bale and Asensio on the flanks.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, before the Real Madrid and Super Cup finals, expressed his interest to sign Bale that was if he was not in Madrid’s plans for the future.

However, the Mourinho was dealt a blow after Bale started the final, shifting the Man Utd’s manager’s interest to Croatian Ivan Perisic.

The transfer of Perisic to Man Utd was unfortunately delayed and as days went, the Croatian inched closer to sign a contract extension in Italy.

There is now renewed belief among the Manchester United community that Bale could make the move after events in Valencia.

Football pundits in England have tipped Man Utd to acquire the Welshman’s signature, saying that he would destroy defences in the Premier League.

Bale has also shown his intentions to stay at Madrid, saying he feels happy at the club and wants to win more trophies.

Man Utd have won their first three games in the Premier League without conceding, a trend that coach Jose Mourinho wants to continue and if Bale decided to make the move to Manchester, they could become serious title contenders this season.

Spanish newspapers tip Zidane to sell Bale to a wealthy club with only days left to the close of the transfer window.
