Controversial blogger Robert Alai was arrested on Friday 19 August after publishing a sensitive story touching on the Kenyatta family.
"They blocked the road and ordered me out at gun point. I was then bundled into another car and driven to Kamkunji police station where I am since 10 am on Friday," said Robert who is currently being detained at the Kamkunji police station.
Kenyans have taken it to social media to express their views over Alai's arrest using the hashtag #FreeAlai. Here is what some on the Kenyans are saying;
