Lady loses her handbag mysteriously while buying goods in kibuye market

A 35 year old woman lost her handbag containing all her work documents and money worth sh.5000 at kibuye market in kisumu town.

Rebecca Achieng who resides at Ahero cried uncontrollably when she realised her bag was missing from the crowd she was in.

"I only realised after my handbag had gone", she explains in tears.

Rebecca was in a cloths corner where she bent down to pick a few of her choice with her bag held with her two legs.

Well, the place she was shopping at could have been suggested as a safe place when in a crowd, but it turned out that this was the worst place to keep materials in a big place.

According to one of the urban workers in kibuye, it was a big place with different people and it needs people to be careful.

" I don't recommend carrying of big handbags in such places", she added.

It therefore means that a lot of care should be considered.

" We're already following up on the story",said Mureithi , a police officer in kisumu county.

Cases of pickpocketing have become rampant behaviors in places with a large number of people especially in markets. Funnily, it's always difficult to trace these intelligent thieves.

This act does not involve men only but also women, something that looks weird in the society.

"They'll always dress like any other person", says Nancy Achieng, one of the sellers in kibuye market.

Nobody will never be suspected of shoplifting or pick pocketing from the clothing they wear.
